● New Album Review:
Dokken
- From Conception: Live 1981
A majority of the time when the discovery of an early live recording is made, a band will decide not to release it. It might damage their integrity, some may say. For the last several years many fans have felt that Dokken's integrity has been damaged as the band has soldiered on without the involvement of Jeff Pilson and George Lynch. When Don Dokken stumbled across these recordings in the vault..... Read The Full Review

Upcoming Releases (Island Report):
Here are a few upcoming releases that caught our attention. Mixed press
information & links have been added.
Chevelle: Vena Sera
1. Antisaint
2. Brainiac
3. Saferwaters
4. Well Enough Alone
5. Straight Jacket Fashion
6. The Fad
7. Humanoid
8. Paint The Seconds
9. Midnight to Midnight
10. I Get It
11. Saturdays
Vera Sera is Chevelle's catchiest, heaviest, most dynamic and expressive album to date. Filled with an array of sonic styles and tempos, colored by personal, most passionate lyrics, the songs are both a declaration of contempt for the mainstream and a celebration of a counterculture driven by crashing beats and blasting power chords. The first single "Well Enough Alone" starts with a chugging guitars and a prolonged howl, and segues into a bipolar blend of angst and euphoria. With Vena Sera, Chevelle have returned from a two year absence stronger and more tightly knit then ever. Not only does the album reveal the band's musical growth, it reveals in a renewed sense of drive and determinations.
The single "Well Enough Alone" can be purchased via iTunes and other legal digital outlets. It can also be heard via the band's MySpace Page. The album itself will drop on April 3rd.

Miranda Lambert: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
1. Gunpowder & Lead
2. Dry Town
3. Famous In A Small Town
4. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
5. Love Letters
6. Desperation
7. More Like Her
8. Down

11. Easy From Now On
"My songs talk about real things," says Miranda Lambert. "Things that
I've been through or I've witnessed through my friends and family - even
my parents' private investigation business. If I feel it, I can sing it
and make anyone believe it."
Big talk from a small-town Texas girl, but Lambert's got the goods to
back it up. The old-school passion and power of her nearly
platinum-selling 2005 debut KEROSENE took it to the top of both the
country charts and the critics' polls. Now the two-time CMA Horizon
Award nominee returns with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, on which she raises the
stakes both musically and emotionally.

LENNON To Open For Journey, But Is There More To It? (Island
Article):
Here's the scoop on what is happening with Journey overseas. Danny
Vaughn has opened for Journey several times in recent weeks as both
bands made their way through the United Kingdom. After doing some
checking I came to find out that LENNON will be opening in Germany
starting tomorrow night for Journey. LENNON's stint will be solo on the
piano and will last 5 shows.
What I found very interesting is the lack of information on Journey's website as to who is opening the shows for them. I had to do some massive digging to find out who was to open the next 5 shows. Neither Danny or LENNON's names can be found on Journey's tour page, which is very disappointing in my mind.
Also odd is the choice of the opening acts and how they are "toning it down" so to speak. Danny Vaughn and band went full acoustic in their opening sessions though Danny has stated "People have already asked if the acoustic idea was my choice and I will say that, Journey wanted an acoustic opener so we were happy to go for it that way." Now just reading on LENNON's Official Website one would find this: "Just returning home (Feb 17th) from a 6 week in Europe with Soil doing the full on metal/rock show, Lennon will tone it done and do the Journey run solo with the piano."
It is nice to see acts open for Journey but check out the firepower of what could have been. Danny Vaughn just released a massive disc filled with insane rock material. Now check out LENNON's website and you will find a ton of punchy pop/rock material that even the hardcore rockers out there would enjoy. This set of 3 bands would have made for an insane full-blown rock show at any stage of a tour. Instead the openers are going for more of a soft approach, why? I just find it a bit odd that both artists have "toned it down" while Journey supposedly gets to rock out.
Journey & LENNON - 5 tour dates:
3/17/07 Europahalle Karlsruhe, Germany
3/19/07 E-work Cologne, Germany
3/20/07 Paradiso Amsterdam, Netherlands
3/22/07 Z7 Pratteln, Switzerland

Keaton Simons Supports Josh Kelley In Spring Tour (Press Release):
Los Angeles, CA native Keaton Simons is gearing up for a month long tour
with Josh Kelley that starts March 16th in Boston and ends up April 3rd
in Augusta, Georgia. Simons was recently described by the Los Angeles
Times as, "an old soul in a young man's voice." The California native
has been a fixture on the live scene. He played guitar with Ben Harper
on "Last Call with Carson Daly" and even joined Snoop Dogg's band when
he played "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Simons sang with Gnarls
Barkley at the Coachella festival in 2006. He's also played with Maroon
5, Macy Gray and Anna Nalick among many others.
After gaining a loyal live following, Maverick Records offered Keaton a
deal and quickly released his Currently EP. The title track had a
successful run on Triple A radio and a became a staple at the
influential indie station, KCRW. He toured throughout the globe to
support the release and garnered raves wherever he played. One of those
new fans was talk show host Craig Ferguson who had Keaton play his CBS
show "The Late Late Show" in early 2006.
Keaton noticed how other artists in the circles he was running with were
opting to go with independent labels to release their newer material. So
in August of 2006, he signed with industry veteran,
Sandy Roberton's new label, Beverly Martel Music. This new deal would
allow Simons more artistic room and a greater sense of control over his
career. Armed with new material, he jumped into the studio with up &
coming producer Noah Shain. The resulting BLINK EP will appeal to fans
of John Mayer, Dave Matthews and Counting Crows.
For more information, check out Keatons Myspace page at www.myspace.com/keatonsimons as well as tour dates.

● P!NK - Live At Wembley DVD (Island Report):
We mentioned this release back in December as per the MSN Live Performance that was streamed online. The DVD will be released as 2 separate versions, edited & Parental Advisory. The odd thing here seems to be the pricing of the PA version as Sony's Pre-Order has it listed at $14.98, while the edited is $12.98. Not exactly sure how they figured that pricing scheme out but there you have it. The DVD will be released April 17th, little tidbit reminder Wal-Mart does not carry PA releases. Target/K-Mart and online outlets will be selling both versions. Listed below are Pre-Order & relevant links.

● Introducing OPERATOR (Press Release):
Lots of hard rock bands channel insecurity and pessimism into songs that
spit and roar about the unfairness of it all. Operator takes the
opposite approach. Fronted by consummate performer,
multi-instrumentalist, mixed martial arts fighter, gunslinger, and all
around modern renaissance man Johnny Strong, Operator is all about
believing in yourself, embracing the moment and making the impossible
happen.
A soldier of self-empowerment, Strong speaks with a commanding voice
that rings loudly throughout Soulcrusher, Operator's major label debut.
A triumphant album in the spirit of some of Strong's favorite artists -
Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Guns N' Roses -
Soulcrusher pays homage to the past, but maintains a spirit and
philosophy that transcends its influences. More than anything, the disc
is an inspirational reality slap, a high five to those who make the most
out of life, and a dire warning to anyone who lacks the courage to
follow their dreams. The band features Paul James Phillips (ex-Puddle of
Mudd) on guitar.
Johnny chose the band's name from a documentary he saw about the downing
of a helicopter in Mogadishu, a story that was later turned into Ridley
Scott's film "Black Hawk Down," in which Strong played a Delta Operator.
Be prepared for more Operator in the near future as the album
SOULCRUSHER drops into stores July 3rd.
You can listen to the self-titled track "Soulcrusher" by clicking
on one of the links below. A music video is also being worked on and
should be available next week. We will have a full album review this
summer. Seriously guys make sure you listen to this new tune. At first
listen the lead vocals sound similar to Chris Cornell, insane!

Elvis Lives Again (Press Release):
On March 19th, 2007 at 12:00 PM PST, the winning bid will have
controlling interest to the Elvis Presley-Paul Terry King song
registered on BMI.com as work number 7600186.
This is a historic event for three kings: the "King of Rock and Roll"
Elvis Presley, the Larry King Cardiac Foundation and songwriter Paul
Terry
King (co-author of the last known song co-written but never released by
Elvis), who is now auctioning off his copyrighted interest to the song
titled "Just Like Rollin' Up Hill" (registered under Elvis Presley's BMI
work number 7600186 on BMI.com).
A portion of the proceeds go to the Larry King Cardiac Foundation,
whose mission is to provide funding for lifesaving cardiac procedures
for
individuals who, due to limited means and no insurance, would be
otherwise
unable to receive lifesaving treatment.
Elvis Presley and former American Studios songwriter Paul Terry King
co- wrote two songs in 1973 and performed them privately -- "If I'd Only
Bought Her Roses" and "Just Like Rollin' Up Hill." Elvis and King's
first song "If I'd Only Bought Her Roses," US copyright PAu-1810-413,
was purchased by Elvis-a-Rama in 2005. Elvis-a-Rama was planning an
Elvis impersonation contest with the winning contestant singing "If I'd
Only Bought Her Roses."
The songs (along with remaining assets of Elvis-a-Rama) were purchased
by billionaire Robert Sillerman's company CKX in 2005 for an undisclosed
amount prior to release.
Devoted fans, music enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and/or entertainers can
now bid and get copyright and performance rights to one of the most
prized
possessions of the King himself, his music -- and help in the war
against
heart disease.
"It's Now or Never!" This opportunity will never be available to the
public again.
The song is now available to the public on eBay. The auction closes at 12:00 PM PST on Monday, March 19th, 2007. To listen to the song, and learn all about it, go to www.ElvisSong.info. To bid now go to eBay.com, item #290092399734, or contact eBay powerseller Mike Waters toll-free @801-668- 5323.

Def Leppard - "Sparkle Lounge":
Joe Elliot has posted a lengthy article via Def Leppard.com which lays
out what the new album will contain as well as the title. To read the
full article follow the link below.
Hi everybody,
Let's talk a little about the next album. We've been writing while on
tour, really. At most shows, we did have this room set up backstage that
we called the "Sparkle Lounge," where we were trying new ideas out,
record little bits. We're gonna try and go into the studio in the first
week of January. Our initial plan was to get it finished in May, which
would make a possible August release and then do some European shows,
followed by other places, but I'm not sure anymore if we'll able to do
that anymore!
As for the musical direction..... It will probably not be too far away
from where we've always been, but looking at where everybody's head is
right now, it's definitely gonna be an album like "YEAH!". You know,
up-tempo, 3-minute songs. Not as experimental as, say, "X" was. Which
was a bit...

Did We Miss Something?:
I am sure some of you are wondering if we are going to have an article
about the recent "Hall Of Fame" show that was televised on VH1 Classics
& streamed on AOL's website. Of course were going to have a write-up
along with captures. We have decided not to post our article until
Monday the 19th out of respect for those who have yet to see the show.
Not everyone was able to view the stream and many do not have VH1
Classics. For those who were not able to watch and still would like to,
you can view it this weekend. On Saturday the 17th at 8:00pm CST VH1
(regular channel) will be re-airing the show. There will be many reruns
over the weekend and into next week.
Some new album reviews will be posted as the week rolls on.

Beach Boys - "The Warmth Of The Sun" (Press Release):
The Beach Boys and Capitol/EMI Music Catalog Marketing are proud to
announce the May 15 release of "The Warmth Of The Sun," a new collection
of 28 career-spanning tracks, hand-selected and sequenced by The Beach
Boys themselves. "The Warmth Of The Sun" traces the iconic band's
creative arc in a sunup to
sundown musical journey that goes beyond the beach, presenting a broad
view
of the rich musical legacy of America's band.
The perfect complement and companion to 2004's double-platinum certified
"Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys," this new collection
delves deeper into The Beach Boys' musical legacy with hits like "Sail
On, Sailor" "The Little Girl I Once Knew" and "Feel Flows." Within "The
Warmth Of The Sun's" three decade-spanning tracklist, much of The Beach
Boys' most accomplished work is illuminated. Compiled and sequenced by
The Beach Boys' Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Mike Love, and Brian Wilson,
"The Warmth Of The Sun" showcases the broad scope of the Rock and Roll
Hall of Famers' recorded canon.
From the beauty and depth of the title track to the melody and groove of
"Break Away," the journey moves from the surf to the streets, each story
narrated with The Beach Boys' unparalleled trademark harmonies. With its
full spectrum of themes and ambiance, "The Warmth Of The Sun" is a
must-have collection for any fan of The Beach Boys' musical mythos.
For four decades, The Beach Boys, originally comprised of the three
Wilson brothers: Brian, Carl and Dennis, their cousin Mike Love, and
Hawthorne, California neighbor Al Jardine, have recorded and performed
the music that has become the world's favorite soundtrack to summer. In
1965, Bruce Johnston joined the band when Brian Wilson retired from
touring. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and
winners of NARAS' Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award, The Beach Boys are
an American institution that is iconic around the world.
In 1961, The Beach Boys began singing about America's newest craze,
surfing. What followed was a wave of hits that vividly expressed the
lifestyles, dreams and ambitions of America's youth. Their signature
sound, full of sun-drenched harmonies, golden melodies and descriptive
lyrics, delivered a taste of the free and easy California lifestyle to
listeners around the world. The music of The Beach Boys brings optimism
and a beam of Southern California sun wherever it is played.
Last fall, Capitol/EMI Music Catalog Marketing celebrated the 40th
anniversaries of The Beach Boys' legendary 1966 album Pet Sounds and the
band's #1 smash hit single "Good Vibrations" with commemorative CD,
deluxe CD/DVD and limited edition vinyl packages.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH will celebrate The Beach
Boys' enduring legacy this year with "Catch a Wave: The Beach Boys, the
Early Years," a new exhibit scheduled to run from June 22 to December
31, 2007. More than any other artistic entity, The Beach Boys created an
iconic vision of California as the Promised Land for those who would
revel in youth, surf, sand, and rock and roll. This exhibit explores
their formative years through never-before seen artifacts and tells the
story of the band's enduring legacy. For the latest Beach Boys news and

Genesis Announce Dates For "Turn It On Again" Tour (Press Release):
Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford of the band Genesis have
unveiled the dates for the N. American leg of their first tour in 15
years, kicking off at BMO Field in Toronto, on September 7th. The tour
will hit 13 different cities across N. America playing a series of
arenas and stadiums.
"Genesis is absolutely one of the world's most exciting bands of all time," said Michael Cohl, tour promoter. "They have always been an amazing concert experience and I'm thrilled that fans will be able to see them perform again live for the first time in 15 years."
Anticipation has been running at an all-time high following the band's
announcement last November to take the 'Turn It On Again' Tour to some
of the biggest venues across Europe in the summer of 2007. Public
response has been overwhelming, with many dates selling out quickly. The
band will trek through Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary,
Poland, Germany, France, Holland, UK, Monte Carlo and Italy before
heading to N. America. Tickets will go on sale in Montreal and
Philadelphia beginning Saturday, March 10 and in Boston, Chicago, East

Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford will be joined on stage by
long-time Genesis sidemen, Chester Thompson on drums and Daryl Stuermer
on guitar. Two of the world's greatest show technicians, award-winning
lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe and acclaimed set designer Mark

impressive stage shows to tour this year.
This year, Genesis will be honored at the "VH1 Rock Honors" ceremony on
May 24.

Last year, VH1's inaugural show honored KISS, Queen, Def Leppard and Judas Priest and was hosted by Jaime Pressly with tribute performances by Foo Fighters, Godsmack, The All-American Rejects, Paul Rodgers, Tommy Lee, Slash, Scott Ian, Gilby Clarke, Rob Zombie and surprise guest Ace Frehley. Making special appearances were Kiefer Sutherland, Gina Gershon, Jaime Kennedy, Natasha Henstridge, Brittany Snow, Jim Breuer and Penn Jillette.

Eddie Van Halen - "I Owe You":
Released on March 8th by Eddie Van Halen, can be found via
van-halen.com
I would like Van Halen fans to know how much I truly appreciate each and
every one of you. Without you there is no Van Halen.
I have always and will always feel a responsibility to give you my best.
At the moment I do not feel that I can give you my best. Thats why I
have decided to enter a rehabilitation facility to work on myself, so
that in the future I can deliver the 110% that I feel I owe you and want
to give you.
Some of the issues surrounding the 2007 Van Halen tour are within my
ability to change and some are not. As far as my rehab is concerned, it
is within my ability to change and change for the better. I want you to
know that is exactly what Im doing, so that I may continue to give you
the very best I am capable of.
I look forward to seeing you in the future better than ever and I thank
you with all my heart.
Love,
Ed

Scorpions / Humanity - Hour I:
The Scorp's recently posted the following information via their official
website, more information will be posted soon.
We enjoyed a fantastic four month in Los Angeles, California, recording
the songs for our new album HUMANITY-HOUR1. The mixing is making great
progress as we speak. Very soon, the new album will be completely mixed
and mastered and ready to be shipped across the world. The official
release date is expected to be in the 2nd half of may, but may vary from
country to country, so make sure you check with your local record
company or record store. It felt great for all of us to hit the stage
again and rock the house as we did March 2nd at the Kremlin Palace in
Moscow. Thanks again to a great audience! After spending quite some time
in the studio, we are definitely ready to go out on the road again.
P.S.: as soon as the mixing for Humanity- Hour1 is done, we will try to
set up a prelistening session with snippets of a couple of songs. Let us
know what you think.
Yours SCORPIONS

Bon Jovi - Lost Highways = Destination Nowhere (Island Report):
First piece of business to mention is that tomorrow we will return back
to our regular news updates. Today we wanted to "Go Off!" on the current
state of the band Bon Jovi. We mentioned last year that their upcoming
album would be a country disc. We also posted the working album title on
our Best Of '06 Awards. There have been 2 audio samples that have made
their rounds online thanks in part to a popular promo company. Now there
is a real "leak?"? We look at the audio samples, the newly available so
called "title" track and where we see this band going. As if that was
enough to focus on, we also look at another new Jovi tune that many of
you may not be aware of.
This is by far the most uncut, raw piece of information we have posted on this website. This is also a little sneak peak into how the upcoming Island Magazine will be. Would you like to hear one of the new Bon Jovi tunes? Read the article for a link....
If you dare, Read Our Latest Article:

There For Tomorrow - Pages (Island Report):
Here is another band that has caught our attention. For those who
like Acceptance & Anberlin we would strongly suggest you take a listen
to this up and coming band. I've added the band's write-up and new EP
information below.
"Pages", the debut EP recorded in association with multiple gold record
producer James Paul Wisner (Underoath, The Academy Is, Dashboard
Confessional, Paramore) bursts on the scene and serves as a showpiece of
excellence for this vibrant bands talent. This stellar production
highlights There For Tomorrows own unique creativity. It blossoms with
intricate arrangements blending with catchy hooks, driving yet melodic
guitars & large drums that go hand in hand to achieve their big sound.
Early indications from the music industry, reveals a buzz that can be
described as no less than a massive groundswell of interest and high
expectations.
With a fresh new sound and memorable high-energy performances, their fan
base is rapidly growing. Their resurgence has continued on the heels of
recent mind blowing shows such as sold out events at Hard Rock Live
Orlando, Murray Hill in Jacksonville, and the Back Booth in Orlando. As
a follow up to those successful events, in December 2006 they went on to
win an O-Rock 105.9 (Orlando) competition and rocked in front of ten
thousand at the No Snow Show concert at Tinker Field. Opening for bands
such as AFI, Taking Back Sunday, Angels and Airwaves, Buckcherry, The
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sugarcult & Kill Hannah.
There For Tomorrows sound has continued to mature in lockstep with their
progressive musical consciousness. A process that has rendered perpetual
development of refined compositions that speaks to all rock generations,
and serves as proof that they are gifted beyond their years. With so
much recent positive feedback from industry insiders and fans alike,
high expectations abound for anyone who has experienced a There For
Tomorrow show firsthand. Being on the verge of a breakthrough, this is
one of those exciting bands that should be on everyone's "One to Watch"
list!

No Ratt, Miscommunication... Metal Mania 3:
It seems there has been some miscommunication between Ratt and VH1
Classics who are promoting the latest Metal Mania release. Below is what
was posted by the band via their myspace page yesterday:
So it appears there has been some miscommunication regarding the Metal
Mania 3 cd that was released today and the Metal Mania 3 release party
for tomorrow night. RATT appears on the Metal Mania 3 cd. They are NOT
appearing live tomorrow evening. Some how someone confused the two.
Regardless of the rumors the release party is going to be crazy tomorrow
night. QUEENSRYCHE, Great White, & Jani Lane among others are to
perform. (I think Tesla & Dokken too)
If any RATT news, shows, and / or appearances happen you'll be the first
to know.

Faster Pussycat - Just The Facts:
For some reason there has been some confusion about who owns "Faster
Pussycat." Band member Brent posted the following just a few days ago.
I legally own the name Faster Pussycat and have been a member of the
band
since it's inception in 1986.
In 2000 Taime made an awful remix cd. It was not until Greg Steele and I
threatened him with legal action that we were paid and invited to join
our
own band.
In 2005 I was diagnosed with oral cancer. The band which I had been part
of
for 20 years all of a sudden replaced me and lied about my condition.
I was very hurt that Taime never bothered to call me once.
As a result of Taime's drunken and erratic performances, the price for
Faster Pussycat live performances plummeted and fans have voiced their
displeasure.
I decided I would attempt to reunite the band to commemorate our 20th
anniversary. I invited both Greg and Taime, (which is more then he did
for
me) but neither responded.
I felt that the fans should hear the songs as they were recorded one
final time. So together with original members Eric Stacy and Brett
Bradshaw, Faster Pussycat will tour Europe and beyond. Every show is 90
minutes of all classic tracks. No re-mixes, No B.S.!
I've been through too much to sit home and wait for Taime. I'm happy to
say I kicked cancer's ass and as long as I own the name, there will only
be one Faster Pussycat this year. 3/5 rule!
P.S.
www.FasterPussycat.com is back up!
More to come. Brent Muscat
The 90 minute, 14 song set list includes the following hits:
Don't Change That Song, Bathroom Wall, Cathouse, Babylon, Smash Alley,
Where There's A Whip There's A Way, Little Dove, Poison Ivy, Slip Of The
Tongue, House Of Pain, Pulling Weeds, You're So Vain, Nonstop To
Nowhere, Out With A Bang

Switchfoot Updates:
I received the band's regular edition newsletter and it contained
some pretty interesting information so I decided to post the whole thing
below:
We have now been immersed in snow-infested terrain for nearly a month
(starting in Europe, and now in Canada), and it's been a fun change for
us San Diego lads. the tour has been incredible so far -- thank you so
much for coming out and singing along. these have truly been some of our
favorite shows ever. besides touring, we've also been busy with other
things of intrigue such as:
1. new music video! we're shooting a new video for Awakening, involving
several of our heroes -- one named Tony Hale (AKA Buster from Arrested
Development)! the new single, Awakening, has become a favorite of yours
and ours, and it feels good to have you involved in helping us chose
this single. thanks!
2. live bootlegs: we've been recording and manufacturing a live bootleg
every night after the show. we press about 100 copies every night, and
they're always gone at the end of the night. It's a fun way for us to
keep the evening going, and you can drive home listening to the concert
in your car.
3. podcasts! in case you haven't been keeping up on your podcasts, there
are 2 new podcasts up and available for free. the first one is from
Europe, and the second is from Canada. although both podcasts are from
different parts of the world, they are both equally ridiculous. You can
catch them on iTunes or on our website.
however, I would be amiss if I failed to mention that you have also been
busy... busy like busy bees.
4. setlist voting: we were absolutely floored when we received over
75,000 votes in just the first few weeks alone. you have been making us
work hard. you have been choosing the wildcard song of the night, and
you've forced us to re-learn some really old songs, which has actually
been quite enjoyable. "Life and Love and Why" was especially fun to play
in Vancouver last week... we hadn't played that song for at least 7
years or so. if you're coming to a future show on this tour, make sure
to go
www.switchfoot.com/tv.htm and let your voice be heard.
5. bootleg sharing: we posted on our boards last week, encouraging
everyone to freely trade/share their bootlegs with one-another. with
just a few hours, you all created a new website,
www.switchfootbootlegs.com that continues to grow everyday, and is
completely run by you guys. we think it's pretty fantastic. to keep up
with the shows on this tour, go here to download/contribute bootlegs.
And that brings me to my final point: Canada, you have been absolutely
delightful. we love your country, hospitality, and yes, even your cold
weather. and as for the US, here we come! we are a mere 5 days away from
re-entering the country, and we can't wait to rock the northeast. Check
out the list below to find a show near you, and don't wait til the last
minute to get your tickets, because this tour has been selling out
quickly, and we don't want to miss anyone.
Another thing that we've never done before: sell bootlegs of a few songs
from the show at the end of the night. See for a lot of us, the end of
the night comes too soon. This way, you could actually be listening to
the show in your car on the way home from the gig! So we're still trying
to figure this one out logistically, but where there's a will there's a
way. This is the closest we've come to a live cd. At the end of the tour
I suppose we'll have 39 of 'em!- only available that night. We'll keep
you posted.

● REO Speedwagon - Final Art? (Island Report):
We were the first to report the original artwork, not to mention the first to call the band out about it. Finally a change as occurred as you can see. What do we think about this design? It is definitely better then their previous but again it is very similar. There's no creativity here and anyone with a computer can just Google a compass and toss it on a white background. Hopefully the band's creativity was used up on the songs. Why are we being so picky about the artwork? Look at it this way, this band is legendary and the last thing they need is to release a disc that will make them look like a joke. So far this release looks better then Night Ranger's though so they are doing something right.
More REO news to come soon.
