Best Of 2004: Lost Album Reviews

Richie Kotzen - Acoustic Cuts:                                                                                                   Rating: 3.95/5 - Jere
Good acoustic album consisting of Kotzen's well known tracks. An acoustic album done the right way without a This Left Feels Right influence.

Richie Kotzen - Get Up:                                                                                                                  Rating: 4/5 - Jere
Richie further cements himself as a solo artist with this his latest masterpiece Get Up. A great mix of guitar driven rock with a hint of blues and some soulful musicianship Kotzen is an artist who plays and performs from the heart with his best album to date.

Shadows Fade - Shadows Fade:                                                                                                Rating: 3.85/5 - Tony
Some amazing songs on this one, though not quite as impressive as it could have been. Definitely one to pick up for those who love Kevin's vocals and like the Two Fires/Storm type feel.

Bonrud - Bonrud:                                                                                                                           Rating: 4/5 - Tony
One of those albums that make you go wow where did this come from. Coming from left field and just kicking our butt with great songs and catchy lyrics.

Red37 - Red37:                                                                                                                        Rating: 3.75/5 - Tony
Collaboration of Matthew Nelson, J.J. Farris (ex-Tories) and Brian Burwell (ex-Neve). One of the coolest albums to come out this year, had some tracks that I'd personally love to see on a movie soundtrack.

Bryan Adams - Room Service:                                                                                                   Rating: 4.75/5 - Tony
Though not yet released in the USA, we felt because it was in fact released in the world that we should add it to the Lost Reviews Of 2004. Great album, definitely proves that Bryan still can play his heart out and kick some butt. Amazing writing of the lyrics, definitely one of Bryan's best albums.

Velvet Revolver - Velvet Revolver:                                                                                                  Rating: 5/5 - Tony
Featuring former members of Guns & Roses and lead singer from Stone Temple Pilots, this band lit a fire in 2004 and gave a major boost to the rock world. Slash sounds better then ever and the lead vocals by Scott are dead on awesome. Hard Rock at it's finest.

Alter Bridge - Alter Bridge:                                                                                                         Rating: 4.5/5 - Tony
With the split up of Creed came an evolution as guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips and original Creed bassist: Brian Marshall formed Alter Bridge with former Mayfield Four lead singer: Myles Kennedy. August 2004 saw the release of the debut album: One Day Remains which is really Tremonti's album as he goes off on guitar. The material on this disc is more edgier then Creed and Myles Kennedy's voice is more commanding then Scott Stapp.
